Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator of Cuban descent on Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana was was raised in Cuba's Havana. Her move to Miami with her family at age 2 after moving from Havana. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the presenter and host of Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado", one of the most popular Spanish-language shows on the network. The show was nominated for one of the Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2015. The show was ranked among the top performers in all key demos. Polo was born on the 11th of 1959, Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Sciences. She then earned the PhD in law at the University of Miami. For 20 years, Polo practiced in Miami. She received her PhD from University of Miami. University of Miami, and after that, she practiced law for the next twenty many years within Miami. Polo was first exposed to television audiences in 2001 through Telemundo's show Sala de Parejas (2001) along with other court shows in which the legal skills of her was showcased. Literature Works and Accolades Her 1958 novel Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute fled Spain for an adventure in the United States 1960. Polo was a breast cancer survivor who frequently raises money for this cause and speaks at events. She's always been an activist for LGBT issues. She earned her law degree in 1987 from University of Miami School of Law.
